My family and I had a horrible experience with Ashley Furniture. We purchased a sofa, loveseat, chair and 3 barstools. A month later we still had not received our furniture nor had we received a call saying when they expected it to come in. I called and I was told that the furniture was expected in the following week. So the following week I called to get an ETA and I was told that it still was not in. So at this point I requested to get furniture that was in stock. I picked out furniture and then was told that my barstools were discontinued. I ended up taking the in stock sofa and loveseat that I changed to and purchased a chair and barstools elsewhere. With all that being said, I will never purchase another item from Ashley Furniture. They were unorganized and not forthcoming with delivery date information. I am also not pleased with the quality of the sofa and loveseat but it beats sitting on the floor in my new home.
Furniture is poor quality. I was told that my sofa was in the warehouse but they will not deliver it because it was on a different order with my dinning room chairs which I didn't get for 7 weeks. I was not given a window of time of when my dinning room chairs would be delivered so I missed the delivery, and when I called there dispatch I was told that a rep called and left a message for my time window. Which was a lie..no one called and left a message..and I'm still waiting for my dinning room chairs. When they delivered my sofa mattresse after I threatened to cancel my order and get my money back they delivered it with a spring mattress in stead of a foam mattress. They tried to basically trick me with a switcheroo..never have I have these many problems with any company..almost 7 weeks since I paid $3,000 and I still haven't got my dinning room chairs..and buy the way all 3 major furniture companies are all own by the same person..so good luck going somewhere else
By far the worst customer service we have ever dealt with. The women at the front desk should all be out of a job because none of them know what they are doing, and they have no idea to treat humans. Absolutely horrific. Don’t even waste your time in this place. Never ever again. They will only do the bare minimum and have zero knowledge of any processes.
I purchased my furniture on May 18th with a 2-6 week delivery window. I called the store twice after waiting 8 weeks. I was promised delivery within 10 days after speaking with a manager. I received a call with a delivery date of 8/4 between 1-5 pm. I was called after 2 p.m. and told my my window was pushed out 1 hour. My wife waited until 730 p.m. with no one showing up. I made many calls to the store with no answer of where my furniture was. It is now 8/5 and I still don't have my furniture. This will probably be my first and last purchase from Ashley. Read the fine print... They only return furniture with store credit. Update: Rescheduled for 8/11. The drivers showed up this time. My chair was delivered defective. I want my money back at this point. Was told by the District Manager William Hall that my refund would be partial. They deducted the $100 dollar credit. I didn't even get all my money returned. Please avoid this place...they will only have you disappointed.
